The Pankonien Group
OPPORTUNITY:
With big plans to open their first retail boutique Bleu, The Pankonien Group, an Austin-based interior design firm, hired The Storied Group for a project placement to help generate buzz about their firm timed to the store opening.
RESPONSE:
Leveraging the news of Bleu, The Storied Group chose The Pankonien Group’s kitchen project for a one-time project placement. They touted it as “An Austin kitchen that will soon be shoppable.” Wanting to drive traffic to the store, The Storied Group first approached local press including Luxe and Modern Luxury. While they didn’t have space for the kitchen, they each loved the store news and decided to feature Bleu. This left more opportunity to continue pitching the project. The timing was impeccable, as House Beautiful was working on their annual Kitchens issue and they loved the project.
RESULT:
Not only did The Pankonien Group get their kitchen project published in House Beautiful August 2022’s print issue, they also got a 3 page feature in Modern Luxury Interiors Texas about the opening of Bleu, as well as a feature in Luxe. Three features for the price of one! Needless to say, TPG realized the value of PR and decided to become an ongoing monthly PR client.
